White Rose Farm with Sally Voris
White Rose Farm, a 132-acre biodynamic farm in northwestern Carroll County, focuses on connecting people with the beauty, bounty, and balance of nature. Sally Voris, along with her staff and volunteers, grow and sell premium vegetables, flowers, herbs, free-range pork, chicken and eggs, local unpasteurized honey and homemade jams and jellies. White Rose offers seasonal events, full moon celebrations, memberships, Community Sponsored Agriculture (CSA) shares, and volunteer opportunities.
This year they will offer educational programs about biodynamic agriculture, about simple practices, mental, physical and emotional, that you can do to participate in healing the earth. They will also teach specific skills: raising chickens, building compost; keeping earthworms; canning; preserving; gardening and drying herbs and flowers.
